Whose Al-Quran recitation for memorizing or learning?

I am a student of Arabic and have listened to all the Qaris on the Quranicaudio list.

For the purpose of teaching/learning and recitation etc I suggest Mishari Rashid al-`Afasy

His voice is pleasing and he follows all the tajweed rules with ease. The pace at which he recites make it easy for one to follow and his voice has such a resonance that it is easy to replay in one's mind as one tries to memorize the verses. He wins my total votes and I listen only to his mp3s

First of all, thank you for the websites. I was about to look for a good website to download Quran then your question appeared.

My Favorite Qura [Reciters] are :Mishary Al-Afasy- Abu Baker Shatri and Abdullah Basfar.

MashAllah some Qura got good voices but they might not pronounce words well [Tajweed]. Abdullah Basfar mashAllah pronounces each letter correctly and his voice is beautiful too.
