When did revelation from God to man end?

God has gone completely spiritual, from what I can tell. He communicates through His Spirit .And if I read John chapters 14-17, I see that according to what Jesus said, the Holy Spirit should be quite busy. If you ask me, God is busier now than he ever was. But since we don't have people calling for the next disaster (and being right about it), people tend to think God somehow stopped doing things.

So when I tell you that we wont see any return of Christ before the Great Tribulation, it might be something Christians commonly say, but those other Christians who are not really close to God are going to deny it. Those who God wants will listen for the truth of it regardless of the traditions they learned, because God is able to raise people from deep within a tradition in order to pull them out at some point.

To add to this; Jesus said twice in John 6 that no one can come to him unless the Father drew them. So a new Christian is an indication that God is still doing this. He is active, but since he doesn't want everybody, he is only being active noticeably in those who trust Him and do His will.

GOD sent Christ to teach people who would listen.

After the last Disciple died, the "listening" stopped. Teachings were changed, man made traditions began. Why did these things happen. Well in part from 'free will', there were egos, and the ruler at that time Constantine, wanted things "his" way, as well as to divide further the truth that Christ taught.

GOD tells us this in Isaiah 29:13 "These people claim to worship me, but there words are meaningless and their hearts are somewhere else. Their religion is nothing but human rules and traditions which they have simply memorized."

It is this that has been handed down from generation to generation.

There is hope however. GOD will be cleaning up religion, Christianity, [including Catholics] Judaism and Islam as well. GOD will begin to take back what HE rightfully owns, and the teachings of Christ will begin again for all who choose to listen.

Revelation from God actually didn't end. It is alive an well in the Catholic Church.

At Fatima, for example, God had a message for humanity that He delivered through Mary. This is similar in nature to Him using angels in Daniel and Revelation. To confirm the divine origin of the messages at Fatima God performed the Miracle of the Sun. It was witnessed by tens of thousands and was reported in newspapers around the world.

I don't think it ended I think we got stuck on old books written by scribes, (script writers) and stopped listening, after all we are told we are inferior born in sin in need of saving and only special long dead people were able to be inspired by God. Revelation from God to humankind has no longer ended. each and each born-lower back believer has heard from God in my opinion; the present of prophecy remains operative interior the Church (in spite of the reality that there are various fake prophets as properly).

Who says it has ended? Revelation doesn't equal prophecy. It is simply a communication from God to anyone that concerns something they had not yet seen or understood. I just had a revelation from God last Friday night.

It hasn't ended...when Jesus returned to heaven...the Holy Spirit came to dwell among us...it is the Holy Spirit that continues this revelation (Book of Acts)

I don't think it has ended. He has spoken to me although it was not a revelation meant for the world. It was about my personal life.

After Jesus came and completed his mission on earth, God no longer had direct communication with humans.

He had supplied all the proof necessary for those who heard of Jesus to become his followers. Jesus himself said: "No one comes to the Father except through me".

The last Revelation of God was when the Bible book of Revelation was recorded. ... He is however, still revealing it's true meaning to us.

All the stories in the bible were either made up or embellished by men. None of the books of the bible were signed by the author. All books of the bible have also gone through many translations and have been voted on by many men to see which parts to keep and which parts to throw out. Most of the bible has been proven to be fiction.
