Vision getting darker until complete blackout?

For example :

When I go to sleep and turned off my lamp,

everything is dark with only a little light (from the window)

whenever I focused on that light, my vision always getting darker until I cannot see anything.

It happened so fast, around five seconds until complete blackout.

But when I looked in the other direction, I can see again the lights but the darker vision will happen again soon, it always happen when I focused on the lights.

Not only when I went to sleep.

whenever I'm in a dark place and focused on a little light there, it happened too ..

except, if the light is wider than the darkness.

anyway, I'm 17 and I HAVE Floaters in my eyes too :(

but I don't think it's age related ..

is everyone also experiencing the same?

and some explanation would be a great help

thank you!

Trust me it's normal. It has something to do with your iris i think. Your eyes are programmed to look out for moving objects, in the dark, when nothing is moving, your eyes adjust so you can't see anything. I don't remember why, but thats what i learned from Science Camp in 8th grade. It's normal, theres nothing wrong with you.

And i have floaters too >.< So many to the point that they sometimes scare the **** out of me XD
