Honda RA271, a F1 car, had V12 N/A.

Toyota has the 1GZ.GE V12 N/A for Century.

Nissan has the Nismo VRT35 V12 N/A for P35,

GRX-3 V12 N/A for R382 & R383

as well as Diesel V12 for work trucks

Yamaha OX99-11 had a V12

That's all I could find with a quick look around the internet.

Japan has always manufactured small engines with big kick rather than huge engines with moderate kick, like Americans.

This might be because of Japanese culture.

Although Japanese automakers have flirted with the idea several times, fuel prices and emissions standards have pretty much foiled any attempt to build and market such a vehicle in the US.

The Super Grand Turismo race circuit only allows for a maximum of 8 cylinders, so no one would build a 12 cylinder sports car, that could not be raced.

Formula 1 racing is different, and Toyota supplies a V10 to McClaren.

But they don't use a 12 cylinder.

The Japanese tuning company Top Secret stuffed a V12 from the Toyota Century into a Supra once, it was a one-off car.

Hi so they current toyota century has a V12 engine as standard but not as we know in a sports car as yet. but a japanese manufacturer will surely try to beat volkswagen with there Bugatti.

i admire Peugot via fact they have a lion for their emblem. i'd purchase neither French nor eastern too many issues. I very own a Korean (Hyundai) vehicle and have had no issues. surely, i offered the comparable vehicle over returned thrice over some years of direction. I enjoyed it plenty.

I have never heard of a 12-cyl. from Japan.
