Is it wrong if I behave like this?

I kind of a quite person and I don't really feel like spending or wasting my time for people who I'm not really close with. For example like when one of my classmate is sick and I'm not that close with that person, I'll refuse to visit and I'll just send parcel instead. Like, I sympathize but I hate putting that much effort for them unless it's my best friends, boyfriend or family. I don't even care when people talk behind my back about how I don't care about other people around me or how cold I am. I care about other people but not as mach as I do to people I close with and I don't really like to show it that much. I feel like I'm a bad person because I do this...or I am?
