Who is your most fave classical pianist nowadays?
In my opinion, my most fave is Evgeny Kissin. He's perfect and balanced between technique and interpretation, and he's my main inspiration to keep me love and learn classical music especially piano. I really love to see him playing Rachmaninoff piano concerto no.2 and Chopin etudes.

Most of my favorites are dead. Gyorgy Cziffra, Rachmaninoff, Benedetti Michelangeli, Dinu Lipatti, Emil Gilels, Sviatoslav Richter, William Kapell, Earl Wild (RIP 2010), and Shura Cherkassky.
But I know you asked for ones that are alive I really like Vladimir Ashkenazy, Idel Biret, Martha Argerich, Boris Berezovsky, Nikolai Lugansky, Garrick Ohlsson, Horacio Gutierrez, Andre Watts, Sven Goran Eriksson, and Andrei Gavrilov.

I agree. I like Eugeny Kissin as well. He is a terrific pianist!
It is hard to just pick one as a favorite. I love Dubravka Tomsic and Sylvia Capova. They are wonderful, but so is Svetlana Stanceva and Idil Biret. These are the ones in my top four.
